Where is Your Focus

I feel somewhat embarrassed asking this question, but here it goes. When shooting off the bench or cross-sticks with a scope what do you focus on,  the crosshairs or the target?  What about when you shoot metallic silhouettes? Thanks, Tom

Offhand I focus on the target. BR I focus on both the cross hairs and what I want to hit.

My Focus was totaled in a parking stall in Everett several years ago by a guy speeding in a BMW.  It was towed to a wrecking yard.  Not sure where it is right now.
