I have a #4 in 25rim that I would like to trade for either a Lyman 438 or a Wollensak [Ranger] scope in 4x or 6x with clear optics and no buggered screws. The action is crisp and tight showing some case color but has a few areas of surface pitting. The wood is very good with only a few minor dings but was re-varnished by someone with a heavy hand. The barrel ain't that great with a lot of surface pitting, likewise the buttplate. The bore is surprisingly good for some reason, go figure. There is no front sight but it has the standard rear sight minus the elevator. It's a side lever and locks up tight. I know, I know, where are the pictures?
