Frank, Do you know if the Fecker scopes were a three or four lens system?
Think either could made to work but the position of the adjuster looks like a three lens system.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Here's my very early Fecker scope.

Fecker scopes are my favorite of all the old scope makers.

Frank,
Have you ever seen a Fecker scope without the center adjustment? I bought one at the Colorado show in Greeley about 4 years ago. Mainly I bought it because it was adjusted on the objective bell and I'd never seen this before. It has a 2" objective bell and is a 16x.

Only my Small Game one, with a Litschert objective attachment.

Chuck, it looks like the Feckers are a 3 lens system, if you consider a achromatic lens, a single  lens Smiley

I have  Fecker telescope, but it has no marking for power that I can find. Is it hidden, or simply unmarked? If unmarked, is there a way to tell what it is?

I don't think Fecker marked many, if anything with the power rating.

The way I determine rating, is to put the scopes on a tripod aimed at something about 100 yrds and then compare with known scopes. A veritable saves time.  That's what I have done with all the Feckers I had.

I have rings and a external mount, that fit on tripods so, it's not to big a deal.
