Hey guys, thank you all for your input. I'm sure I will find a solution among all these suggestions to managing BP fouling in my OH & BR rifles. Just to be clear on my intended use, below are the two Ballard .32-40 rifles will be shooting with BP. Top rifle is original No.6 action with replacement barrel (Ron Long). Other rifle is a Cody Ballard (Mark Swanson engraving) and Ron Smith barrel.
Both are breech seated and my BP bullet lube is SPG or SPG Tropic.

I've used the Mpro-7 on my BACO bore wipers and it does work quite well.  With those bore wipers the Mpro-7 works better than my oil/water mix.  But I still get better accuracy with multiple damp patches (oil/water) than with the wipers.  But the wipers allow you to shoot very quickly so have some advantages in prone black powder shooting.

A local shooter here in Idaho uses anti freeze 50 50 with water. He wins BPCRS championships. Says it's the best he has ever used.

Ethylene Glycol. Not me.

I use the plumbers antifreeze mixed with water in winter.  I haven't tried the any of the automotive stuff.  The automotive stuff is pretty weird stuff.  At the drag strip it's illegal to run it because if it gets on the track it's very slippery and nearly impossible to dry.  I didn't want to put that into my barrels Smiley
