I once had a Krag rifle that was bored to 375 caliber and chambered for the 375 Krag Ackley and it was a very impressive cartridge.

I may try and work with what I have a bit more.

I would still appreciate feedback from people who have gone the rebore route, how it worked out and who they used.

I haven't had a barrel rebored, but have several friends who have had JES Reboring do their rifles and all were very happy with his work. Great job, quick turn around, and reasonably priced. Cheaper than a reline, or a new barrel.
JES is about 100 miles south of my home and well known for his work here.

JES rebored my 250-3000 RB to a 50-70 and it shoots lights out.  They do not work on extractors so I had to have Curt do his magic and at the same time put his extractor limit screw in.  I sure miss him.  Tom
