Before I try anything….. once I get my zero are you able to loosen and move the knob to get it to the “0”zero on the windage and elevation knobs or do you just have to remember the number you were at when you zeroed the mounts. I know I can with my scopes on my other guns but wasn’t sure in theses DZ mounts and didn’t see anything in the literature.

I solved that problem by just buying enough scopes so I can have one dedicated to each rifle.

I have two scopes with DZ arms mounts and I use them on four different rifles for black powder cartridge rifle shooting. I have zeroed the scopes on two rifles so that the windage is right at 50. When I move it to another rifle, I have shims made from a feeler gauge of just the right thickness. Every .002" moves it one minute. I've been fortunate enough that they have both been needed on the left side of the mount when moved to other rifles because it only works on that side and won't work on the right side if you need to move the scope the other direction to get your zero. I then use 50 as my zero for windage and can work either direction just like a soule sight while shooting. Makes a whole lot more sense to me doing it that way than trying to do the math and remembering the numbers from where you were the last shot to the next shot like at the Quigley with all the wind changes.
