Chinquapin Sept Shoot

OK, folks.  Do you want “local” schuetzen events in VA?  I have acquired one last weekend from Brushy Mtn Club.  It will be held on Friday and Saturday, 25&26 September… two months away.  I have a rather modest goal of 8-10 shooters for one or both days.  Come on folks, let’s come out and do some shooting with the rifles we claim to love.  Offhand and Bench, 100 and 200 yds, Cf or rf. Good lunches.  What more could you ask?  You must be present to attend!

MH, how about you do the sandwich thing again for Friday, and I’ll plan on chili or gumbo for Saturday.  Would that work for you?  Shooters might want to start checking in so we’ll know how many to prepare for.

Froggie…

No promises, but I have you on my calendar.  (Depends on how the Frau is doing at that time.)  I can no longer whup up on folks in the shooting but it is still fun to see everyone.

Best regards from

CHRIS

I probably can’t make it to the 200 yard targets without driving. Old knees. But if Chris will make the journey from MD, I’ll endeavor to make an appearance too.

Driving to the 200 yd targets (or even 100 yd ones) is perfectly acceptable.  In fact, I usually do at least the former myself.
Chris, come ahead.  There is still more bull shot than there are targets!  Remember who’s running this show.
I’m hoping to hear from Tim the (former) Tin Man, and father & daughter Stuart and Susan.  She hinted she might bring her son so he can give moody holler’s boy Bryan a run for Jr shooter honors.

I'm looking forward to it, pending some on health.  Plan on bringing a guest shooter as well.
