	Yes but I never could get it to upload. I’m new to this sight and I’m a slow learner with technology. I’m sure I wasn’t doing something right.

	Now that, sir, is simplicity at its finest! A lovely rifle! I’m not so great with technology either, early on I figured out how to post pictures, and then forgot! Haven’t been able to put it back in gear since!

	With nice custom rifles the value is, of course, what someone will pay for it. Hard to determine except in an auction which is not legal here.

	Years ago I came back to the U.S. pretty flush from working overseas. Called Lonestar trying to place an order for a 70-40 straight. I guess we talked for about five minutes when he ( Dave ? ) said in a loud voice " Blasphemy " and hung up on me. Not sure what I said to set him off. Rick

	There are several things you could start with in describing it. What make is the scope, what power, what diameter is the tube and what diameter is the objective end? What make, type and height is the tang sight? Is the action one Dave made or did he rework a military? My guess is that it was not a military as the military I sent him (and he completed just before his accident) required a straight stock and this one isn't. What is barrel length and twist and any marks on it on top or bottom? Someone will want to know all of these.

Easy to swap in a lower tang, and when I bought original Remington tangs from Numrich they were $45 each. Cheaper than having a straight tang bent, and lengthened to make it a pistol grip. 	Flatlander, Dave definitely did beautiful work. This is the result of me sending him a 7x57 carbine and some wood I picked up in Reno (which would have cut a pistol grip). I asked for a 50-70 hunting rifle.
