For sale is a Rolling Block rifle with a heavy 15lb barrel in 40-90. The rifle comes with 20 cases of 40-90.

The rifle is fitted with a pedersoli tang sight, front globe sight and built on an antique smokless receiver.

Curious as to which case this one uses? - something like BELL .405 BASIC, Bertram or something else?

I have a Highwall and a Roller in this cartridge. Bertram made/makes a 405 Basic that is long enough. Hard to find and harder to form. Given that, they are a blast to shoot.
