Pope barrel liners?

Had a fellow tell me he'd seen numerous guns with Pope liners installed in them. I was shocked since the only lined barrels I've seen or heard of by Pope were some S&W pistols he did in the 1930's.
So my question is how many of us have ever seen a single shot rifle with a Pope liner in it?
