	For Sale: Winchester Model 1885 High Wall, Serial No.: 120847, caliber: .22 Short, Takedown, Single-Set Trigger This is a late Winchester High Wall take-down, coil-spring rifle with a single set trigger. The trigger sets and "lets off" as designed. The takedown barrel to action has a very, very tiny amount of play. These were designed to adjust and I've never done it. The barrel is a full-round No.3 weight barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel doesn't have any dovetails cut for sights. This rifle was meant to be scoped and has scope blocks installed. The wood is in very good condition overall, BUT there is a crack behind the upper tang. The forearm and buttstock are original Winchester stocks, but the checkering was added sometime later. The checkering is professional and fine. The blued finish on the action and barrel are original. This rifle has seen very little use, if any. It was someone's safe queen.
