Winchester High Wall 32-40 cam style breech seater

I have made a couple of more seaters for 32-40 high walls. These fit originals only, they do not for Uberti.  These should fit up to a .323 bullet.
I can do others in different calibers with your case that accepts your bullet with a slip fit.
price is $199 shipped.

Beam me up Scotty!

Get your seater today. Hot off the lathe.

After this batch of 6, there will not be any more until sometime next year most likely.

BTW. I only make seaters for original high walls and have no interest in making them for any other style of rifle.

Thanks

It is always nice to have more than one. I have something like 9. 4 are in 32-40. All with some form of defect. It seems I find a way to make a boo boo about every 4th time I machine the brass body.

The 2 finished seaters are sold. I have 4 others close to being completed but will wait for orders most likely.

The seater clears a scope just fine. You insert a bullet into the case and push the assembly into the chamber. The handle can remain fully to the rear if necessary until the lug is able to be turned to engage the back of the breech block mortise the handle is then pushed forward while in the horizontal position.

I can post a photo a bit later.

Photo 1 shows seater inserted with lug up.  #2 shows how high you can raise it.  It is at this time that you Push the seater in so that the lug clears the back of the block mortise.  Ho hard you have tops is determined by the bullet.  A tapered bullet will require little effort while a fat nosed one a bit more. #3 shows th seater in the position where you force the bullet all the way away in.  This scope is on 3/16'high blocks.
