1885 Folding Rear Sight Search.

I am looking for a reasonably period appropriate folding rear sight (if such a thing exists) for a C Sharps Arms 1885 rifle I ordered.
Anybody have any suggestions?

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Might let people know if you're looking for a folding tang sight, or a rear barrel folding sight?

Barrel sight or tang sight?  Marbles makes a barrel mounted folding leaf rear sight in various dovetail widths. Lots of choices for tang sights.

Tang is taken care of.  Folding is not.
I'm familiar with the Marbles, I just don't like it.  Wondering if there might be any more period "appropriate" sights you fellows in the SSR world are familiar with.  I'm coming up nix.
One option might be a classic British type with a folding leaf and the standing leaf ground off.  Might be heading that way if all else fails.
Or I throw in the towel and go w/ the ole Marbles.

Did you check Buffalo Arms and Montana Vintage Arms? Both sell old style folding ladder sights.

Old Arms has another as well.

Or a complete one.
