WTB tang sight for Rem RB

Looking for a tang mounted sight for a Remington rolling block. I believe the D&T hole spacing on the rifle is 2.060"
Will buy or trade other gun related items for something of interest to me.

Not looking for original just a usable sight. Vernier would be nice but not required.  Mid range.

Better measure that again! Standard hole spacing for Remington rifle tang sights is 1.937"

I doubt that the D&T holes in this rifle are factory since some of the patent dates are drilled into.  This is a rebuilt rifle with round top receiver so I thought military originally. I think the most recent patent date is 1887.
   Right now I have a Parts Unknown sight on it that I temporarily borrowed from another Remington RB in 50-90, also a rebuilt rifle. When I measured the holes I used a caliper and tried to align the jaws to center of each hole. Likely not a precise method but I dont know of a better way.

Is that using the inside edge measure from the far end of one hole to the near edge of the other?

No Sir I used the outside measuring tips and tried to align them by eye to the center of each hole.

Easier to get exact measurements by measuring one edge of each hole using the same left edge on both holes. Or the right edge on both holes.

Easiest way I've found is to put screws in both holes, measure outside to outside with a vernier caliper and subtract the diameter of one screw.
  
Inside every bright idea is the 50% probability of a disaster waiting to happen.
