EVR, maybe I jinxed it.  The firing pin in my favorite CSA highwall just broke!   

I have a few spares and will save this one to repair later.

I have a low number low was produced in 86. Pat out of C Sharps referred me to Wyoming Armory as there firing pins he feared would be a touch small. Folks at Wyoming Armory came through and we were back in business.

Where the pin broke it looked crystaline so whatever it was it might have been too hard.  Either way it was probably 10-15 years old by the time it broke, so not too bad I think.  I've heard of others with lower firing pin life on their rifles.  I have this feeling that a lot of the small volume rifle manufacturers have a tough time managing hardening of parts.
