Good source of data for Saeco mold bullets?
Print Post
I have a number of Saeco bullet molds and although I have about twenty reloading manuals ranging from current back to fifty or so years old I have never found a published source of reloading data for the Saeco mould bullets. I have used published data for similiar weight and shape cast bullets (mostly Lyman) to get a starting place to work up loads, but thinking maybe I am missing something that may be out there as a published source of data.
Right now I am looking for loads for a 38-55 Lyman Sharps copy using a recently purchased Saeco #638, which is a 225 grain FN Tapered bullet. Anybody got any published data to share? Or a source to go to?

Lyman's Cast Bullet Handbook 4th edition has loadings for Saeco #638 in 38-55 Winchester(Ballard) on page 192.
