I prefer fixed power optics too. That Leopold may be the best optically .

Don’t overlook Weaver T 10’s made in ElPaso TX. Have owned them 6 10 and 16 power.  My opinion they functioned better than the two Leupold 6.5 x 20 scopes I used on Silhouette rifles.  This due to repeatable adjustments.

Optics on vintage Weavers not quite as good as the new Leupolds but, daylight, target range, match shooting, targets are easy to see. Clicking to change the point of impact and twists parallax adjustment is essential. The yard marked short parallax movement on Leupolds is not precise.

Best buy from or have inspected by one of the optical shops that know vintage optics. Most can change reticles to suit too. Opinion, not all will agree.
