Parkwest is the successor to Dakota Arms. They took over the company in it's entirety with the same people, models offered and very high standards of quality. I was fortunate to get one of Dakota's Little Sharps rifles at auction recently and Parkwest is making them again. The workmanship is impeccable and it shoots MOA. They actually test fire each of their rifles for accuracy. The one that I bought cost me about what one would pay for a Shiloh and it was in as new condition. All of their wood is drop dead gorgeous and I am more than pleased with it.

Don Allen, who started Dakota Arms, designed that single shot action. Don was a fine rifle maker and a good friend who died way too young. He is missed.
