You have got me beat by a couple of years.  I joined shortly after I got my first Ballard to see what the Stevens 638 scope that came on it was worth.  I still have that scope.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Not sure of my original join date that was back in I think 2004 when this forum started elsewhere and then moved here? We had a dust up back around 2008 and a number of us left then. So my new start date is 2009.

It was April 2004 for me. As I recall learned about ASSRA at Charlie Dells match. Prior had only used single shot cartridge guns  at NRA BPCS matches or Club Matches on Steel Rams hung from chains. Trapdoors first
and a CPA about 1996 ? I had shot Minne Ball Muskets since high school. Cartridge guns easy transition

Learned a lot from this group and learning still

Boats- 6 days earlier for me, suspect that was when this  board replaced Charles Hamilton's defunct one.

If you're talking about the Forum, 2020; if about the ASSRA, 1972; if my first single shot, a Schoyen-Sharps, 1967.  And for me, time zooms!

My little identifier tells me I joined in June, 2004.  Been a single shot guy since 1967.  Mt first one was a Stevens Mod. 47 in .28/30. on a 44 action.  Still have it.  The only rifles I like nearly as much as single shots are Krags.

I joined in May 2004. And while I haven’t been to Aetna Green. I have thoroughly enjoyed this forum and the journal. I do feel like I’ve been seduced by you in buying Winchester high walls Remington Hepburn’s Stevens and a few Ballard. It wasn’t my fault. Thanks for sharing your knowledge..

Well, I may have been late getting here but my first two single shots about 68 years ago were my trusty 410 shotgun and a 43 Spanish Peabody.
