Someone help me Identify this Rolling Block action

I bought this barreled action a few years ago.  It was supposed to be a New York Militia action. The previous owner made an inline muzzleloader with a 54 cal barrel.  My plan is to have it lined and reamed to 50-90 Sharps.
Iafter I got it someone said it's a No 1 Sporter, then today someone said it looks like a Whitney.
It has an octagon breach, no hole in the guard for a swivel,  and 3 screws on the left side in an unusual pattern.
I spent an hour comparing it to Ken Womack's site tying to find a match with no joy.

Definitely not a Whitney.
Looks more like a later model #1 with a rotary extractor.
Most likely the smokeless round. I think it was a 7mm

The extractor is different from my other three RBs. They are all bar type.
I'm guessing the scratches on the breech face is from trying to pry off spent musket caps.

Tom, that's the breech for the inline.  When I bought it it had an inline breech, a nipple, and had been shot many  times.
The bore is 54.

Looks like a #5 with an octagon receiver.  Lots of Military actions have been milled to octagon.  I have no idea if the #5 came in a sporter receiver.  Tom

Thanks Tom, I believe you're correct.  Here's a pic from the site I missed earlier.

Does this mean I can use moderate smokeless charges in it?

54 musket. Liner. Musket caps. An extractor. No nipple showing.

Confused here, to put it mildly.  Undecided
