	For Sale: Stevens No.47 44-1/2 Action .22LR Offhand Target Rifle This rifle has double-set triggers that function correctly with a crisp let-off. The Stevens name is stamped on the left side of the action as was normal in late-production rifles. It also has proof marks on the left flat of the action and barrel; I don't know the significance. The part octagonal barrel measures 30" long and has a good to very good bore. The rifle has an early Lyman front globe target sight, and a Stevens tang sight base with a Winchester vernier staff. The forearm has had a fingertip rest added. The bottom of the rest is professionally checkered. The stock has minor bumps but are otherwise in very good to excellent condition. The buttplate is slightly taller than the end of the buttstock. This is a late production rifle that has had its metal professionally refinished. It looks and shoots great!
