Good Day All,
I purchased a #9 Ballard, in 38-55, this last fall.  I'm working up loads for it now.  My question is, has anyone substituted VV-N120 for 4198?  I don't have any 4198 and have not found any locally.
I do have VV-N120 and see that it's close to 4198.  I'm loading a 265gr bullet, from The Bullshop, cast at .384 with 25 to 1 alloy.  This is fixed ammunition.

I've got some good load data from marlinguy and sgtdog0311, so thanks to them for their help.
