Greeley strikes again!

I just had one request for this year which wasn't satisfied last year. I wanted a simple shootable Maynard (does that also sound like cheap, well, relatively inexpensive?). So nothing like a 16 and not even an 82 was necessary. There it was, a 73 with a slide up tang sight and a decent 26 inch barrel in 35-30 (sort of). I don't know which model that makes it but I have a book on the way and maybe I'll find out. I would have avoided a 35-30 and all that problem family of Maynard cartridges with .406 head diameter brass but a previous owner had taken care of that giving it a tight 38-55 chamber. Uh, what? Well the grove diameter was about .367 which happens to be what my 9.3x57R (360) moulds turn out in 175 and 200 grain weights. Still uh? I'll take it up in the reloading section now.
