We had 11 shooters take 107 shots at the wooden boar target that Mike Creager provided for our enjoyment and offhand competition at 100 yards for the Germanic match. Special thanks to Bill Rose for making his spectacular .22 German rifle and top of the line ammunition available for us to shoot. If his rifle ends up missing, he'll have a plethora of suspects, because we ALL want it. Bill Rose used that rifle to touch the black dot in the middle of the scoring rings for first place, Geoff Crowe was second, and Bill Wilson came in third. Bill R chose a DAB German bier glass and 3 different German biere for his (Karen's, actually) prize, Geoff chose a 12 ounce bottle of maple syrup and we'll have to see what Bill W chooses at the next match. Phil Anderson's ticket was chosen from the prize stein, so will also be able to pick his raffle prize at the next match. Thanks for a great time everyone! Unfortunately, a rain shower washed away a number of the earlier "permanent marker" initials...
