	For Sale: Ballard Offhand Schuetzen rifle with Stevens .32-40 barrel Ballard offhand target rifle; Serial No.: 3281 (maybe 8281); .32-40 caliber; 29-1/2" octagonal barrel with a good to very good bore Barrel's top flat is stamped " J. STEVEN A ... \| CHICOPEE FALLS, M ..."; partially covered by rear scope block. Left fat is stamped with the caliber: "32.40". tHE BARREL MAEASURE 29-1/2" long and has a good to very good bore, bright and shiny with well defined rifles from the breech to muzzle. The action in a non-rebated, likely factory original nickel-plated action with double-set triggers. The lever is a ball-and-spur type. The buttstock is orioginal Ballard with the checkering extended all the way up to the action. The buttplate is a very good fit a hair of shrinkage at the toe. The forearm is equally beautiful with its horn tip (possible repairs). The rifle has a globe target front sight and only a tang sight base. The barrel has scope blocks. This rifle was previously owned by Roger Roddick, an ASSRA member that shot at Etna Green years ago.
