FS:  Engraved Stevens 47 based upon 44 ½ action with double set triggers.  The rifle has a 28” long #2 barrel with front sight and a Stevens No. 102 tang sight, adjustable for both windage and elevation.  The engraving appears to be factory original.

Added comment:  From what I have read in Grant's Single Shot Rifle books, Stevens used the acid etching method to "engrave" many of their high end rifles (49s and above). As you can see, the action of this rifle is acid etched.
