Dave R. Taylor .32-40 GAIN TWIST Barrel
For the Stevens 44 1/2 or possibly the CPA.

$450 + Shipping

After agreement to purchase, we will communicate so I can calculate actual shipping cost.
Personal check, money order and PayPal.
Credit cards are an option but there will be a 4% convenience fee.

First person to say "I WILL TAKE IT" , by posting in this thread or by private message to me will be the buyer.

Caliber: .32-40

Twist:  Gain Twist
With a tight patch from the breech I get 1 twist in 20"
From the mid point of the barrel to the muzzle I get 1 twist in 16"

Not a perfect method as I have to overlap by 4" in the center to have enough barrel to measure the last full twist before the patch leaves the muzzle.  Hopefully this makes sense.

Length: 32"
Diameter: 1.100" at breech tapering to 1.060 at muzzle
Weight: 9lb 14oz
Thread:  16 tpi
Shank/thread diam:  .865"
Shank length: 1.435"

Vintage scope blocks included

Pictures are the best description.
If it is not in the pictures, it is not included.

I have excellent feedback on Gunbroker and eBay and will link you to my feedback if asked. 1100+ on GB.  1800+ on eBay

Please ask any questions before speaking up for this barrel!

Michael, I’m not interested, but thought I would mention that this barrel looks to be for a Stevens 44 1/2 or maybe a CPA rifle.  I don’t know for certain but, I think the CPA shank is larger than an original 44 1/2.  You might measure it and post the size here.

That dimple above the threads where the set screw indexes is characteristic of the CPA Stevens, not sure about other actions....

My edits ate my character count and parsed the link for the last picture of the muzzle.
