A O Niedner written all over it. AO was known to be an innovator, unafraid to tackle the weird. Some sort experiminkle rifle for a close but weird gun crank buddy. A deep thinker...

Niedner also owned a set of roll stamps, and stamped things profusely on things he built, and even tools in his shop. I have Niedner's old Ideal bullet sizing tool and inserts, and even this tool he stamped with his rollstamp.
I think if Niedner did this work he must not have been proud of it or he'd have stamped it too Joe.

No, even though it has his firing pin in it I don't think Niedner would have stamped this one.

Jack, you would take it apart and sell all the parts. If the Remington tang sight is original, I have a Hepburn just begging for it.

Too bad they are not seeing it as an antique. I would pay $400 or so for it.

No serial number. Must be antique.
