Ordered 3 barrels from John Getz 20 years ago, still haven’t got them! Wink.  Yup, I know he’s of making them anymore.

That being said, I sure would like to get my hands on one of those false muzzle barrels.  Especially if they are heavy barrels.

I wonder if those Wm. Large marked barrels are either very old, or new enough to be done by his son? My one and only Bill Large ML barrel has 4 J's under his name, which I was told was Bill's most common marking.

Looks like you got 10+, now to the for sale section and watch the frenzy!

Brief pause while I figure out the picture sizing. Without autosizing in the software here, I have to do a lot of editing to get pictures accepted.

When you post in the for sale section, the more info the better.  It will save you lots of questions.

Info like bore, twist, barrel length and size, if they are muzzleloading or cartridge barrels, do they have breech plugs?

My research says "very old".
The .L.was his earliest mark.
The W.M. LARGE w/ no Js for his daughters name is a bit later, but still an early barrel

Yup.
Sold 100+ Investarms barrels a few years ago.    Those were "easy" and common.
Came here due to the age and "rarity" of these barrels.

This is the next barrel I will be listing in the For Sale section with detailed information.

Spent the morning editing previous listings as I learn the oddities of the software here.    Didn't notice the character count limit and the listings were all parsed which led to missing pictures.

Pasting in the PostImage links pushed me over the limit in every listing.   Cry
