40 muzzleloading shotgun barrels

A retiring gunsmith gave me 13 20 gauge and 27 12 gauge muzzleloading shotgun barrels to sell for him. Most are tapered barrels for Fowler while some are heavy octagons. All are rust covered but that would removed in tge process of building guns. He wants $20 each plus shipping. About eight of them appear to be Brown Bess profile. Email me if you want photos. All the brown Bess barrels are 12 gauge. Some barrels are 58 62 caliber and up. They were intended to be rifled by Ron Snover for big black powder rifle cartridge calibers.  I’ll add detail as I  find it. I think all bores are undersized to be bored and/or honed to final dimensions.

Any info on the octagon (un)rifle barrel steels - leaded steel or Chrome-moly?
Thanks,
