Remington #2 vernier sight

I was able to get one of Ken Womack’s sights. Very nice.
Now I need to find someone that can blue it and put gradations on the staff. Suggestions welcomed.

Well, adding those 2 scales will be the hard part. Until you do it will not be a vernier but just an ungraduated sliding mast.
Vernier Scale: The staff has graduation marks (often 20 per inch), and the sliding eyepiece has 5 or 6 lines, allowing for fine-tuning that is more accurate than the graduation markings alone.
