Slip on recoil pad

Im looking for a recoil pad to help tame a custom trapdoor that weighs out a hair under 8lbs. The shooters friend was recommended,  but buffalo arms has had it out of stock for a while.

Anyone have a recommendation or happen to have one lying around?

Look at the Tourbons.  I have a couple.

Does the shooters friend work with a crescent buttplate?  My Hepburn really lets you know you pulled the trigger with heavy hunting loads.  Tom

Don't know if anyone cares but Tourbon products come out of China and I personally will not use a communist made accessory on my good American rifle.
