Permanent injunction

I just viewed a video by the 2ND Amendment Advisor channel of a permanent injunction being filed on the private sale of personal firearms as of March 28 2026. Anyone else know of such a ruling? The site was AI generated but hopefully the information is legit.

I don't see anything on it online.  I do see some CA stuff popping up, but we haven't been able to do a private transfer for years, it all has to go through an FFL.

Are you looking at a national rule, or a state?

Here in Florida person to person sales to other Florida residents are legit without a FFL.

This is what A.I. says

"Private-to-private (P2P) gun sales are generally legal under federal law, provided both parties are residents of the same state and the buyer is not prohibited from owning firearms. However, several states mandate background checks through licensed dealers (FFL) for all private transfers, overriding this general.

I recently gifted a revolver to my brother who lives in the Communist controlled state of Massachusetts, otherwise known as "Libtardia'

Because I was sending it via common carrier, after some research, I thought it best to send it to his FFL.

For no other reason to avoid liability should it be stolen in transit

It was supposed to have taken effect on the 28th of March 2026. The information also stated it could be state specific but the injunction as a whole was good in standing. It started in Texas as a suit by three organizations and some individuals in 2025. I am in Georgia and I haven't heard of any trouble. I am starting to sell off some of my collection this weekend at a local show. Maybe I need to contact the ATF in Atlanta before doing so.

If this was true it would have been all over the news. AI is usually wrong.

A last resort , I would think. Seems about selling one is a hobby and more is a business and requires an FFL unless you are selling to an FFL?

I will try but it was a YouTube video by "2nd amendment advisor" channel if you want to try and look it up.

I did. What I found was one that challenges places, specifically tue post office from banning legal carry in the building.

There was also a policy change by the post office changing restrictions on private citizens, non ffl, from mailing handguns.

Texas injunction

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

That above is mostly click bait at this point, not anything like what you mentioned.m

There was also the release in the 2027 budget canceling many of the ATF rulings on home made firearms last week.

I have a good friend that is a state representative here. I may ask him to see what he can find out about it. There is just so much misinformation out there now you don't know what to believe. I may just have found some of it...
