	Looking for an original stock and forend for a Stevens English model 044 1/2. Mainly need a forend for a standard part octagon #1 barrel, a buttstock would be a plus.

	Is there much of a difference between the "English Model 044 1/2 and a CPA.? Neophyte here would like to know. If not CPA might have what you want. I purchased from CPA a square forend for my 44 1/2 separate from the rifle to help with my load development... Sure shot wrote Today at 9:22am: Looking for an original stock and forend for a Stevens English model 044 1/2. 	Yes CPA offers newly made stocks and forends for the 044 1/2, but I would rather have original wood to match an old rifle. I may have to purchase new wood if I am unable to find an original one.
