25 Cal Bullet Mold

Just purchased a 25-20SS and I am searching for mold possibilities. Viewing equipment lists from matches where quarter bore rifles are shot everyone is shooting bullets in the 110-120gr range (10TW barrels) and their molds were all made by gentlemen no longer in business or no longer living. Barnett was the most used mold. Any suggestions on a current maker for a good 25 cal mold. BACO does not seem to show many and I have no drawing of what I might be looking for.

Out of curiosity, what is the twist of your 25-20SS barrel?

I believe it is a 1-10 but it is a Rock Island Auction Rifle and it will be a couple weeks before I receive it and can verify. Verl Sigman smithed the barrel so I am assuming it would have been built for the heavier 25 cal bullets based on the rifles he has built over the years.

Are you wanting to use fixed ammo or breech seat?

Could do both but likely will breech seat to attain the best accuracy possible. The chamber will likely be a breech seat chamber. I will do a cast when the rifle is received.

I have a Winchester low wall built by Verl Sigman that came with two 25-20 SS barrels, one is 1 in 10 and the other is 1 in 12. Better check before you buy a mold.
