Well, Singleshotitis hit me hard in the past winter months. I just can't seem to help myself. With being legally blind, I really need to stop buying rifles. But everytime I tell my wife "This is the last one", she laughs. What's a guy to do. I'm sure some of you have seen these rifles before. I bought them on this forum. First is a Stevens 44 1/2 Model 51. Purchased from the late Curt Hardcastle. He told me he never shot it after he bought it. Sure wish I could of got to know him better. Quite the Gentleman !! Second is a Ballard #6 Schuetzen made by Russ Gent. Boy, does this guy have some talent. Another Gentleman who I would like to get to know better. Both topped with Fecker scopes. Dale.  ( my apologies for the pictures. Could of done better. )

Speaking of Mr Hardcastle I needed a 40-60 Maynard reamer and couldn't find one to rent so he graciously allowed me to use one he had on hand. I used it and placed it in the mail back to him only to find out he had passed away in the interim. I had no idea he was so sick. I too wish I could have gotten to know him better as well.
