What is this tang sight?

This sight appears to be some sort of a Lyman sight, what is it?
This sight is on a Stevens favorite on Gunbroker, the seller claims that it is a Marbles.

Lyman with a #47 stem or a Lyman 52 if it came with the stem from the factory
