Remington rolling block, Black Powder Cartridge Rifle in 40/82 silhouette cal. Stainless steel barrel 14t . Drilled and tapped for scope and tang sight. Barrel is 29.5 inches long.
I put this together from parts Christmas before last and shot it all year . This Christmas i put some finish on the wood and color case hardened it . The barrel is a new old stock Sony Francis stainless steel barrel 1-14twist . This barrel was meant for a hepburn it was mounted and in blueing discovered it was ss so it was set back in a corner for ever. I ran a 40/82 reamer in it mainly because its 14t, and shot it all year and it did well. The hammer has a set screw for trigger adjustment and a lightened trigger spring. The wood was two different pieces that look similar and still needs some sanding The butt pad i used was damaged. The block was originally 50 rimfire and the original conversion was not centered. The tip on the forearm is "simulated" horn, ( black acraglass , 🤣)
so this is pretty much a seconds parts gun using items that are not good enogh for a nice build  but are very functionalble.
This would be a very good start or addition. $1400. plus the shipping lower 48( pre 1898 antique.)  I definitely enjoyed shooting this stainless steel barrel.
