WTB- beginner.22 Schuetzen

There are a number of .22 Schuetzen matches that have been popping up and my old 8.15x46 won’t do.  I am looking for an old Schuetzen in .22 that may be at a starter/beginner’s price.  Perhaps something that functions well but is not so cosmetically nice?  I am also considering a possible BSA Martini in .22 that I can build into something more of a Schuetzen style. Basically I am looking at something to try out the competitions without breaking the bank.

Any thoughts on trading your 8.15x46 for a 22.

I like that 8.15 too much.  It will stay with me for a while yet!

IMHO see if you can find a BSA Martini with a butt hook and palm rest.

The one Joe has for sale here would be a good .22 to use!
