Just wanted to throw out a plug for the new owners at CPA.
Just received the 40-65 I ordered in August. I was told the wait time would be around six months. It was just a few days past.
The rifle exceeds my expectations. Wood is beautiful! I’m a very happy customer!

Glad to hear the new arrangement is working okay.  I have more than one CPA the first resulted from an interview with Paul Shuttleworth asking me what I wanted in a rifle.  Later, one for my wife with help from Gail and another for my grand daughter. A few more from here and there.  Never had one that disappointed.
Mike.

Doug,
I am very pleased with it. More importantly, Joan is really happy with it. She knows it’s hers and she can tell it apart from the others because it’s prettier.
Still fire forming brass for it. I won’t try your bullets until I have it shooting good with the Creedmoor bullet and am able to get out on my 300 yard range. We have a foot of new snow and more coming on Sunday.
I’ll see you at Merrill tomorrow.
Jim

I have only one CPA and really like it. Ordered it in Sept. 2024. All of 2025 match season was shot using it. Too old to buy any more rifles.

Just received my new breech seater tool and am looking forward to 2026 match season!

If you don't mind sharing - from whom did you get the breech seater for for your CPA?

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.
