Curious but what brass does your chamber use? I am trying to come up with a 40-70 that uses .405 Win brass. Thanks

A person could use a reamer that cuts a chamber at 2.58"
for a  40-72 that uses the full length Hornady 405W brass.
Same as a 40-70 SS "long"

Next:  Now to find a decent amount of 405W Hornady brass....
