Perhaps a silly question but you are certain that it’s not a R2 Lovell?

thanks for the comment and yes I have already tried two different 2R Lovell cases and they only go in about 3/4 of the way. I was hoping it was 2R but obviously not. So I made the assumption it's still in the original 22-3000 chamber, (one of my tasks is to do a chamber cast). The interesting point I found is that a couple weeks ago I was able to buy about a full box of NEW G&H 22-3000 cases which I thought would work. When they arrived they are actually a G&H 2R Lovell cases. They are new with no powder residue inside with the original, domed top, old style primer still intact. I didn't think (or see) that G&H made any of the 2R cases however obviously they did.
