Bought some of the rimfire powder mix to reload rimfire brass.
Going to try 25 and 32 rimfire. Have searched for information but not finding much. Anyone try this?

There's a bunch of posts on the Rimfire section of the Cast Boolits site where people load and reload rimfire cartridges.

Haven't tried the primer mixture but I ordered 1000 primed .22RF cases from FedArm and now&then try some black powder loads in one of my more easily-cleaned .22s.  So far the results are nothing that will make the Board of Directors of Eley's, Ltd. lose any sleep over, but it's interesting; to me, anyway.

N.B.:  A Stevens 44 or Tip-Up design is much preferable to more elaborate actions for this kind of work.  That blackpowder smoke gets into the breechblock plunger cavity in a Stevens 44-1/2, necessitating almost complete disassembly.  A 44 you just have to wipe the breechblock face and the outside and clean the barrel.  You have to take the block out of the action to clean a Ballard or Winchester (or 44-1/2) breech face.

I'e saved all my fired Navy Arms .32 Long and CIL .25 rimfire cases against the possibility of reloading them sometime.  I'll be interested in reading your results.

I played with repriming RF brass a couple years back on some .32 RF brass.  I found it easier to convert brass to take nail gun blanks.  That’s saying a lot because I hate converting .32 S&W brass to fit the .32 RF chamber.  However, once sized down properly and converted, it is easier to reprime with nail gun blanks than to play with the priming mixture.

I do explosives and pyrotechnic chemistry for my day job.  We deal with a couple fireworks plants in Brazil, and I’ve been trying for years to get the boss to let me put a few cases of .32 RF ammo (like 1000) on a container.  It’s still made and sold down there.  It might take me a few years to sell 1000 cases of .32 RF ammo, but…

I would buy a few cases. Thinking it would sell very well here.

Regarding the primer mix components-
A few years ago I contacted the Sharps Shooter (?) guy who sells it and asked if it was corrosive and he said it was indeed. So keep that in mind. Maybe what you bought is different.

I assumed it was corrosive. The non corrosive is much harder to make.

I tried nail gun blanks in several ctgs, and went to cut-off 22LR cases with better success.
