I really want a rifle for competitive centerfire target shooting.
I am struggling if I should buy a Ruger #1 in .204 Ruger. I hear it is really accurate with little recoil but might be a barrel burner over time. Is $1600 a good price?

Had one, nice shooter. Haven't heard of 204s being barrel burners. $1600 +/- sounds about right.
