	With the help of AI, took a list of our current members in the United States (no offense to our international members, we like you too), uploaded the latitude and longitude for all the cities and states, and plotted them on an AI generated map of the U.S. Each dot represents only one city-state combination. So, if there are 10 members in Chicago, Illinois, it is still only one dot. *** * * This represents our ASSRA Members, not the full Forum membership * * ***

	A clarification that may answer a few responses: This website forum is paid for and facilitated through the American Single Shot Rifle Association membership. A long time ago ASSRA members made the decision to create this forum but make it "free" to the public in order to promote the sport and The Association. The dots represent ASSRA members not forum members although forum members obviously can be ASSRA members as well. If you frequent the forum often I would encourage you to check out the website and consider membership. Membership includes a subscription to The Single Shot Journal which is edited wonderfully by the op (Joe) of this forum thread. There are other benefits as well that you can read about on the website. If you are into single shots and into this forum then get into the ASSRA by becoming a member. If you are an ASSRA member and you have no dot....blame AI Mike

	Members of the ASSRA 866 members on Forum 4375 members on FaceBook 4047 actual participants on any of the three - somewhat less about 3000 forum members were removed due to a 10 year span of zero activity I like the map. It shows concentrations where we have (or had) an affiliated club. It would be hard to map Forum members since not all list a location and there is no way to compile that data

	Many years ago the The Journal decided to no longer publish the scores from the Alberta Schuetzen Guild even though they were an affiliated club in Canada. At that point in time many Canadian members dropped their membership and never renewed. However there are still a number of Canadian members not acknowledged even though a majority of ASSRA members thought the single shot clubs were only American and ignored the International Single Shot Association members who also support the ASSRA as well. 	So some non-contributors are unhappy with the map as presented. Is that the issue? Or is it that some contributors were missed and they are distraught that someone else’s effort was imperfectly produced? Guess I just don’t understand.

	We used to have a members map here on the forum. It gave the name of the member and I think even the town. It was really neat so they took it away.

	Is there a way we can find out who our neighbor members are? For example I'm in Los Angeles so would be interested to see who the other dots near me may be. Even though I'm a member I haven't traveled to any ASSRA events before (having kids make that kid of hard) so it'd be nice to find some other locals. -Dave
