A Unertl problem

Earlier this week, my friend and I were benchrest shooting, .22 RF at 100 yards.  He was using a new-to-him Unertl, 15X, no type markings, but probably a 2" Target model.  He moved the range setting from 100 yards to 200 yards and then returned the setting to 100 yards.

The scope is now blurry, will not come into focus no matter what external adjustments we move about.  What happened?  What should we do next?

What do you mean by "range setting"?  The parallax setting?

That would be the focus on the objective bell. Not sure what happened, but might be time to send it off for repair.

Is it a programmer? Three knureled rings on the front objective or two?
