WTS: Hepburn 40-65 with 25-25 Stevens barrel

For Sale: CORRECTED Remington Hepburn rebarreled with a new foreend in 40-65 with original 25-25 Stevens barrel and foreend matched to receiver serial number. Great shape. I will include 25-25 new unused CH4D dies and 20 rds of BACO 25-25 ammo.
I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
$2800 Shipped to your FFL as the serial number is towards the end of  production. Dies and ammo will be shipped separately.

If the spare barrel came off a particular receiver it's easy to put back on. But you need a barrel vise, blocks, and an action wrench to do it. I've had them on and off in less than 15 minutes, and reassembled.
If the donor barrel isn't from the same receiver it's a long process to fit it and get it headspaced and indexed.

As marlinguy said: Barrel exchange is easy if it came off the same receiver. (As is this case) Kinda like Doublemint Gum. Two, two rifles in one.
