40-60 1885 barrel

A 30” , #5, 1885 barrel. Bottom flat has VP enclosed in a circle. Bore condition poor. Rest of barrel in very good condition. $250.00 plus shipping. For pictures email-peabody4070@gmail.com

That’s an interesting item you have. #5, 30” long sounds like serious target and/or long range equipment, yet the cartridge is anything but that. 
My HighWall in that caliber is also 30”, but a #3 contour. It’s considerably lighter than your #5, yet still has very moderate recoil. A #5 would be like shooting a small pistol caliber.
