Hello All
I was wondering if anyone has access to Arms and the Man? or Shooting and Fishing and see who was the Schuetzen Konig for 1891 for what I think is the New York Central Schuetzen Corps, I have The Rifle but that is too early.
Thanks Don

If anyone has a subscription to the New York Times (or knows someone who does) they would have posted it as well I think.

Update, I know someone who does.  I can try and find out if it is listed in the NY Times tonight.

It was a chaotic schuetzenfest.  Near riots, people got shot, thieves and gamblers running amok.  In all that I barely managed to find the king, lol.

It was the president, Henry Kroeger (or Kröger) that was made king it looks like in 1891.  I am on someone else's computer and will get the clips to you later today.

His score was reported as "52 out of a possible 54 with a rifle, the highest ever recorded."  What target tops out at 54?
