Bullet lube for beard balm!

An odd one here, but made me chuckle...

The beard balm/aftershave i have been using was discontinued,  and I have been having issues with the new stuff I got, so figured I'd try and make my own. I have a bunch of tallow left over from rendering brisket fat, so I looked up recipes. I cleaned the tallow, added olive oil and beeswax,  and when it cooled, it was in a block that reminded me of spg. (I added some essential oils and it smells great)

Sitting at my desk, I was thinking this recipe sounded awful familiar,  looked in Randy's book and its basically Emmerts!🤣

Guess you guys got me hooked, now im putting the darn stuff on my face🤦‍♂️

Not true. Hoppes bore solvent made my wife act like this.
On our first date I took her trap shooting where she was exposed to Hoppes. Then to the fanciest BBQ joint in Tacoma, then home where I made passionate love to her for hours.

Hmmm, my wife did buy me hoppes and let's me clean the rifles on the kitchen island, you may be on to something! As for the BBQ, the tallow was smoked while I was cooking brisket. Maybe I have a new cologne?

I have had a rather prolific mustache most of my adult life that I keep in check by frequent trimmings. One time I let the sides grow out and bought some grooming "wax" for men and would curl it up. The wife said I looked like a circus performer so I trimmed it up and never did it again. lol...
